Establishing method for soil database of SWAT model

From the application of SWAT model in China, the method of transforming the soil texture of Russian system to the USA ones is put forward for the inconsistency between the soil database of the model and the relevant parameters in China, and then the calculation method for transformation is given as well. Based on the application of the method to calculate some parameters of the SWAT model with SPAW software, actual case testing is made and the result is satisfactory, which provides the convenience of the application of the model to the relevant field in China.
