New network technologies are applied in more and more industry production field. DeviceNet is one of them and it can take great convenience in the locale production and servicing because of its advantages, such as configuration simple, distributing agility, and strong capability of anti-jamming. This paper particularly introducs the characteristics of DeviceNet and application instances in the industry.
