Design of banknote image acquisition system based on FPGA

In order to achieve rapid and accurate acquisition of paper currency images by sorter,an image acquisition system based on FPGA is designed. This system consists of acquisition based on CIS module,analogto-digital converter module and FIFO module for image cache. The structure of the system and the logic control process of FPGA are discussed.This design has the advantages of simple implementation and easy modification,and the results are satisfied.
