The directivity of the ultrasonic sensor array decides the performance of the audio frequency' directivity reproduced by the parametric array loudspeaker.Improving the directivity of the ultrasonic transmitting array is also one of the key technologies for realizing high directivity,low-frequency sound waves.Based on the basic theory of array directivity and comparing with the line transducer array,a spherical-hexagonal array is proposed. The simulation results indicate that the spherical-hexagonal array not only eliminate the grating lobe, but also has narrower major-lobe width.Through the proposed genetic algorithm to optimize the amplitude weighting, its array minor lobe level is lower than-20 dB,and further optimizes the performance of its direct ivity.
