Research on feature recognition from engineering drawing

A method about hierarchical recognition to the objects of shaft revolution is presented. In this method, firstly a description about geometric relation of the basic drawing elements in engineering drawing is provided; Secondly, after recognized the detail feature-such as hole, keyway -and the splint brushwork, a work to clear them is done. Finally a recognized work to the revolution cylinder is completed.
