The snowflakes degrade image quality and occlude objects and make them blurred. In this paper the imaging expression of snowflakes was analyzed and two-step method was proposed to remove them.First,fog-like snowflakes were removed by using dark channel prior and Guided Filter, and then the remained snow streaks were further removed by using median filter. The removal results showed that our method could effectively improve the visual quality of snow image.
