A robust watermarking algorithm for color images

Based on the analysis of the typical techniques of spreading-spectrum,scrambling-watermark,etc.,an watermarking algorithm for color images was presented,employing such techniques as full-band wavelet coefficient selection,spread spectrum and scrambling.Experiment results show that the algorithm not only has satisfying transparency,but also good performance of robustness against the attacks of JPEG compression,Gaussian noise,filtering,cropping and contrast enhancement.In addition,the algorithm provides more security for the watermarking due to the combination of scrambling and spread-spectrum.
