A Study and Establishment of Computer Input Environment for Chaoshan Dialect

In this paper,an intelligent input method based on 3-gram model,a variant of Markov model,is introduced,with features likecode skipping inputand adaptive learning,Moreover,7 129 Chinese characters with their phonetic transcription in Chaoshan dialect,28 000 frequently used words and phrases,and around 800 local idioms are collected.
