Network coordinate based BitTorrent Multi-Tracker scheme

The random selection strategy used to choose Trackers for clients in the BitTorrent(BT) Multi-Tracker Scheme reduces the performance of the file transmission.This paper desorbs a Multi-Tracker scheme for BitTorrent using Network Coordinates(mTracker) to overcome this shortcoming.With this scheme,the overlay of the clients is optimized by selecting the nearest Tracker according to their locations after calculating their network coordinates.Simulations results show that the bandwidth consumed by the overlay as well as the connection cost between the clients and the trackers is significantly reduced.
