Theories and Applications of the Mathematical Morphology in the Graytone Images Processing

The paper studies the theories and applications of the mathematical morphology in the graytone images processing. An filtering of an image of algorithm is proposed in the paper. What is proposed here is a combination of alternating openings and closings of increasing sizes. With the aigorithm, a series of structuring element of increasing sizes is used so that to carries out filtering level by level. It shows the fact that it improves the filtering.
