a Mesh-model Overlay Network for Media Streaming Multicast

This paper provides a mesh-model overlay network to create an application layer multicast (ALM) system for media streaming. The core operation on the model is every simple: every node periodically exchanges available information with a set of partners, and retrieves data from others, or supplies data to partners. The experiments demonstrated: this model is easier to implement, more efficient and robust than tree-model or proxy-model overlay network.
