Studies on Characteristics of Gas-liquid Mass Transfer in Vinylidene Fluoride Emulsion Polymerization Reactor

Zhu You-liang · Shenyang Chemical Industry · 2005

The measurement method of K value indicating gas-liquid mass transfer effects was carried out. The effects of type, speed of agitator, liquid volume on the K value were investigated, and the optimum condition for vinylidene fluoride emulsion polymerization in the 5 L reactor was carried out: liquid volume 3 L, agitation speed 700 r/min and combining agitator, and so the vinylidene fluoride emulsion polymerization speed 115 g PVDF/L·h, latex content 20 wt% and sharp particle diameter distribution were then obtained.
