Storage system construction based on FC SAN of university libraries

Data storage system construction is an important part of informationalization construction of university library.Selecting an advanced,high reliability,high scalability and easy-managing storage resolution is an important principle of university library storage system construction.The paper analyzed the problems existing in university library storage system,introduced the technology based on SAN and the characteristic of it.The paper,setting Hefei university of technology library as an example,proposed an approach based on FC SAN,which would remove all the shortcomings of the storage system in existence.
