Adaptive Image Enhancement Algorithm Based on Fuzzy Contrast of Grey Entropy

The digital image usually has many defects such as noise,low contrast,blurred edges,and so on.In order to effectively enhance the fuzzy contrast to meet the subsequent identification and testing requirements,an adaptive image enhancement algorithm based on fuzzy contrast of grey entropy was proposed.In the fuzzy domain,according to the value of grey entropy in the neighborhood window,we set a rational threshold and vary the level of contrast enhancement processing of the pixels located on both sides of the threshold to realize the local feature enhancement.The experimental results show that this method not only enhances the overall image contrast and enriches details of the target image but also suppresses the noise amplification.
