Improved Artificial Fish-School Algorithm and Its Application for Solving Numerical Derivative

Artificial fish-school algorithm is a new random search optimization algorithm.In this paper,an improved artificial fish-school algorithm and a new kind of calculating numerical derivative method are proposed.The algorithm for solving numerical derivative is based on artificial fish-school algorithm with Gauss mutation and Taylor formula.It can not only compute first derivative,but also compute higher order detivative.Several computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient and feasible.
