Design of Booting System Based on Flash

For a booting system based on Flash in a signal processing system, it is vital whether Flash works in order or not. In this paper, based on the DSP speech communication system developed by us, the structure,we introduce the system host processor——High Speed FixedPoint Digital Signal Processor TMS320C5410 and Flash Memory M29W400T storing chip. Our focuses are on the principle of memory mapping, the structure of system booting based on Flash and problems in designing experiments. We also give some solution to the problems and some experiment results.
