Network architecture with controllable service based on network

To enhance the capability of management and control in the Internet, an Internet based network architecture with controllable service (INACOS) is proposed. In this architecture a business layer is added between the existing Internet transport layer and the application layer to support the common telecom operation, control and management service. The Internet is enhanced with quality of service and security by INACOS without modifications to the existing equipments and protocols. Finally, an implemented prototype system of INACOS is presented to verify the feasibility of the Architecture.
