Image registration is an important research topic in the field of medical image processing.Image registration is a multiple image alignment to a common coordinate system,to detect subtle changes in the intervening.Medical image registration is widely used in medical diagnosis,to guide nerve surgery,radiation treatment plan,lesion location,tracking and inspection of the treatment of pathological changes in various aspects of morphology and function of integrated information for clinical diagnosis.In this paper a comprehensive overview of the research and application progress of medical image registration techniques.
