Implementation of Telemedicine and Research on Its Key Techniques

The paper presents a telemedicine system, which is based on multi-layer clients/server framework and gives out its Java implementation. The system is flexible when it is implemented and can be compatible with different platforms. It also discusses some key techniques like medical image compression, auto-archiving of medical image and data middleware in the system. The experimental system has been built and the result is promising.
