This paper introduces the assessment of monitoring system of operating dam in two aspects,namely the reliability and completeness. Based on the influencing factors, the paper puts forward the key points in reliability assessment. As well, to meet the safety requirements, the paper advances the terms concerning the completeness of monitoring system of operating dam.
