Improved SACK Arithmetic on Asymmetric Links

TCP/IP is actually the standard transport layer protocol over Internet as well as the asymmetry network environment.In this paper,the problem on congestion control is analyzed and the main solutions are discussed in the case of asymmetric links.As the solution,a novel SACK-based congestion control algorithm is given and tested through simulations,which improved the efficiency of packet retransmission as well as the throughout of the whole network.
