The Application of Cloud Model in Traffic Impact Analysis

Cloud Model is derived from cooperative theory and originally used to evaluate the distance of poison diffusion, and it is suitable for wide applications. This paper presents its application in traffic impace analysis (TIA) to determine the largest impact area of the surrounding road network under different traffic conditions as affected by new developments. The TIA provieds quantitative analysis of the traffic impace, so as to coordinate the relationship between land use and traffic supply.
