An Energy-Efficient WSN MAC Protocol Based on Cooperative Diversity

In wireless sensor networks,energy efficiency mechanism is a key problem.One way to reduce power consumption is designing energy efficient MAC protocols.We combine the BMA protocol with cooperative diversity techniques and propose a new MAC protocol which is called CD-BMA.Simulation results show that the proposed protocol can obtain better performance in capacity and energy efficiency.
