Design and Implementation of Earth-rockfill Dam Safety Monitoring System

This paper discusses the factors affecting the safety of earth-rockfill dam and introduces the research significance of safety monitoring system.The principles of system selection,hardware selection and software development are determined.Based on Internet and Intranet techniques,an automatic safety monitoring system of earth-rockfill dam is designed and developed.Example shows that the effect of developed system is stable,reliable and practical.It provides reference for similar engineering projects.
