Multithread Parallel Computation of Flood Frequency in Construction Period of Water Conservatory Project

In the flood frequency computation with the statistical sampling method,the computation work of random sampling statistics is dramatic. While the multithread parallel computation on multi-core microcomputer shows much higher efficiency. Thus,with an analysis on the statistical sampling model of flood frequency in construction period and the feasibility of multithread computation,a multithread flood frequency analysis code is developed with Delphi. Efficiency comparison shows that the multithread computation method is much superior when large amount of calculation is needed.
