NGN(New Generation Network) takes soft switch as the core technology.It adopts an open and standard system structure,providing voice,vision,data and other multimedia services.NGN is a milestone in the history of telecommunication.Through optimizing the network structure,NGN not only integrates the networks,but also makes the convergence of services possible.It enables the packet switching network to continue providing versatile services in the previous circuit switching network,and also many new kinds of services in the range of countrywide,which signifies the times of a new generation telecommunication network.
