High-Speed Realization of AAL5 by Hardware

AAL5 enhance the operation provided by the ATM layer to support the function needed by the higher layer. In this paper, we focus on how to perform the operations over ATM, and propose a scenario to implement AAL5 Adaptive processing circuit by FPGA and provide a plan to implement the key modules. This plan can realize the connection between the ATM network and the IP network, and is a universal scenario to this problem.
