Exploration on the Development of Agricultural Biotechnology in China

Chinese agricultural biotechnology acquired tremendous accomplishment on cell engineering, transgenic technique and other fields, it makes a profound change for modern agriculture. But there are some problems what limit agricultural biotechnology development. For example, research in basic theory is weak, there is short properties to support, product what could be developed is not enough, and there are other shortcomings in science and technology system, policy environment, secure quality. There are transformations on study of agricultural biotechnology, transformations from single gene to transition, the structural genome to functional genome transistion, of living to of non-living beings transition, resistance to quality Those transformations shall be direction of agricultural biotechnology in 21th centruy.
