Method for image noise removal based on PDEs and wavelet transform

By means of wavelet transform,the image detail information can be preserved while image noise being removed,but image edge information can also been smoothed.Partial differential equation was adopted to remove image noise,and the image noise removal effects were then compared with that of wavelet transform.The experimental results show that image noise removal by PDEs model can smooth noise and preserve edge.Image noise removal by PDEs model is an effective tool.
