Acquisition of PN Sequence Based on Multi-Input Multi-Stage Recursion Sequence Estimation

In order to improve the pseudo noise (PN) code acquisition performance of the recursion-soft-equence-estimation (RSSE) algorithm at low chip signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), a multi-input multi-stage recursion oft sequence estimation (MIMS-RSSE) algorithm is proposed in this paper. Simulation results show that the IMS-RSSE algorithm performs dramatically better than RSSE algorithm at low chip SNR without significantly ncreased hardware.
