An Improving ECC Digital Signature Algorithm and Application in e-Commerce

The Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (ECC) provides the highest strength-per-bit for security. The paper analyses the advantage of ECC, discusses the mathematics base of ECC and complexity of the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP), improves existing ECC digital signature algorithm (ECDSA). It shortens the time for data transmission, makes operation accelerate. Applying the algorithm after improving to e-commerce realize digital signature. The application of digital signature algorithm has strengthened the security of e-commerce.
