Communication network performance evaluation based on stochastic Petri net

The Petri net is used to analyze the dynamic reliability of the communication network for its dynamic description character in this paper.By analyzing the reasons of network failure,three subsystems of failure are abstracted.Then a stochastic Petri net model is developed and settled,and the expression of the network reliability is figured out.At last,the method is proved to be correct by an example.
