Analysis of the Cause of Leakage Current of 110kV Exceed the Standard Bus Arrester

A 220 kV substation after a thunderstorm,patrol found north 110 kV parent B arrester leakage current exceed the standard,through the discovery of internal heating defect by infrared imaging temperature measurement,analysis for lightning arrester top seal bad,affected with damp,caused the zinc oxide valve sheet insulation down,timely processing outage outage after further pressure test; test,found B arrester leakage current value is too large,that the internal insulation partial breakdown phenomenon,so the replacement of the B lightning arrester,check the other two normal,put into operation,to avoid the occurrence of a 110 kV bus accident.
