Video Encryption Algorithm Based on H.264 and Rijndael

According to the characteristics of network video such as large quantity of data,high requirements of compression and various store styles,this paper presents an encryption algorithm combing Rijndael algorithm with video data compression coding.The video data are encrypted after transformation,quantization and before compression.By using Rijndael algorithm,it recovers the statistical properties of the encrypted data to maintain the same compression ratio with the encoded data which is not encrypted.Experimental results show that the algorithm can improve the security of video data,and ensure quality and high compression ratio of the video.
