Design of FM circuit by software based on AD9851

This paper analyzed the characteristics and operating theory of direct digital synthesizer(DDS) AD9851.Combined with application,the design method and circuit of software FM circuit with high-speed microprocessor C8051F040 and AD9851 was given.According the electric circuit structure and AD9851′s specification,the calculate function was given to set the frequency control register.At last the flow chart and the control program written with C51 was supplied.
