On the Means of Stress by Postpositioning the Sentence Elements in English

The means of stress are always related closely to the order of words in a sentence.Postpositioning the sentence elements and prepositioning sentence elements are the two major means of stress by shifting the order of words in a sentence.The former is a major part of the two means of stress.This paper mainly discusses the means of stress by postpositioning the subjects,objects,the modifiers of nouns,reflexives,clauses of comparison,clauses of degree,and periodic sentences.
