To help software organization solving the great difficulties in application of CMMI within software project development pro-cess.Combining with the idea and technology of MDA,a new metalmodel modeling policy which is tailoring plus heavyweight and lightweight extension is proposed,a software process metalmodel for CMMI(capability maturity model integration) is implemented and the modeling steps and methods are given out.A model case is presented to show that the metalmodel can effectively support the software organization to define the software process user model, which is involved with both the features of software organi-zation and the CMMI.
