The paper compares many technologies of public cryptosystems,synthesizes their advantages and disadvantages and uses the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem in E-commerce.Furthermore,it analyzes the procedure of SET protocol and describes how to embed elliptic curve cryptosystem into SET protocol.
