ON THE BLOCK INDEPENDENCE IN WEIGHTED MOORE-PENROSE INVERSE OF BLOCK MATRICES

This article studies the block independence in weighted Moore-Penrose inverse of block matrices.Utilizing the definition and properties of weighted Moore-Penrose inverse,we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions of block independence in weighted Moore-Penrose inverses of 2 × 2,2 × 1,and 1 × 2 block matrices.
