Outage probability lower bound optimization and diversity gain for two-way relay system

In this paper, outage and diversity performance of amplify-and-forward(AF)for two-way relay system are investigated under the Rayleigh fading channel. The range of the signal-to-noise ratio is optimized by the aid of the relationship between the signal-to-noise ratios of the source nodes and reconcile inequality. Hence the new outage probability lower bound is derived. Simulation results show that the outage probability obtained by Monte Carlo simulation approaches to a new outage probability lower bound; in the case of multi-relay selection, the system based on maximum minimum mutual information criterion still obtains the full diversity gain and optimizes the outage probability lower bound.
