A Brief Account of Polyphone and its Performance

Piano works are full of polyphonic structures and the piano is a musical instument on which multi-vocal-part music can be played.Polyphonic music, whose representative is J.S. Bach,is a subject any pianist must learn.In our teaching,we should train the students multi-level thinking ability,multi-part differentiating and organizing ability, fingers' independence and controlling ability and their ability to have a command of the inter-relations of polyphonic music works.
