Centralized and Domain Knowledge-based Approach to WDS Maintenance
Wei Rongcheng · Hydropower Automation and Dam Monitoring · 2009
In order to raise the utilization ratio of water resources, the water dispatching system(WDS) is introduced to most of regional or provincial power grid companies, cascade dispatching management centers and large or medium hydropower stations in recent years. The back-end of WDS receives and processes RTU and dispatching data continuously in 7×24 h,and makes connection to external WDS or other systems to exchange kinds of data.Owing to the complexity, the maintenance of the system is difficult. This paper analyzes the diagnostic methodology based on domain knowledge for the improvement of efficiency of management and maintenance of the system.
