Re-loss-free Intra Coding Using Integer Linear Programming for H.264/MPEG-4 AVC

This paper addredsed the video distortion of intra coding in multigeneration,which is introduced by the irreversible operation of current clip module.In order to implement the re-loss-free(RLF) intra coding in modified H.264/AVC,we proposed a novel optimal clipping algorithm based on Integer Linear Programming(ILP).Furthermore,we improved the cost function of intra prediction to guarantee later encoder has the same prediction values with the former.Experimental results show that the ILP-based intra coding method completely eliminates the video degradation and achieves superior performance in comparison with current intra coding method in H.264.
