The optimization of G.723.1 Algorithm Using DSP

Based on the G.723.1 Speech Codec Algorithm,this paper describes emphasis in the optimized strategy and key technology of designing with fixed-point C language and assembly program.After the optimization the performance of G.723.1 encoder have met with the expectation in data storage and operational complexity.The distortion of the decoded speech is rather small.
