Image Retrieval of Micro-Medicine Based on Fractal Joint Histogram

Image retrieval of micro-medicine is an important tool of assisting the daily medical diagnosis and medical research.The micro-medicine images have fractal characteristics,and then using fast fractal image compression algorithm based on inner product extracts the fractal coding parameters and collage errors.The fractal coding parameters and collage errors are combined to form the new joint histogram.It's used in calculating the similarity between the two images.Result shows that the fractal joint histogram algorithm is effect in image retrieval of micro-medicine.
