Application of PDA to City Transportation Infrastructure Management Data Collection

Aiming at the bottleneck problem of data collection in City Transportation Infrastructure Management System(CTIMS),this paper dealt with the application of Personal Digital Assistant(PDA)to data collection.Then,the data structure and program structure were analyzed.Moreover,the data collection system based on PDA was developed.The system has been successfully applied to city transportation infrastructure data collections.
