On Soft Scientific Problems in China's Geological Researches and Solutions

This paper analyzes some problems in geologic researches of China concerning research system,investment,target,complexity of technology and management,such as inconsistency between the clients and the system of investment in scientific research,the shortage of technical and economic studies in the research projects and the strategic issues in the studies of ore deposit geology,and argues that the primary factors restricting the study of ore deposit geology are state system and natural endowment of resources,along with eight research topics of ore deposit geology soft science and three proposals
