Discussion on the Design of series Protective Angle Tower for Lighting Protection to fit the Demand of Different Areas

There are only several basic types of tower with same protective angle in China,which are used for whatever kinds of landform,weather and lightning day,and thus lead to worse lightning protection for transmission lines of mountainous area or lines of southern lightning intensified area,and higher lightning striking trip-out rate than design value.In order to solve the problem,the angle of lightning striking failure and foreign examples are analyzed,then a series of towers with same type but different protective angle based on different ground obliquity are designed,which make same line has same shielding rate.
