Based on the purpose of do research on LEMP menace for aircraft deeply,improve the capability of aircraft LEMP protection.Through expound characteristic of lightning detailed in paper,analyzing the main factor which is affect aircraft lightning strike during its flight,applying the method of theoretic calculation,calculating the coupling manner between aircraft and lightning energy,summarizing the harm effects upon aircraft by LEMP.Eventually,propound the LEMP protection project for aircraft,which is based on interior protection and exterior protection mostly.
