A new safety evaluation method on dams based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzing mathematics theory

A new safety evaluation method on dams is presented,which is based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzing mathematics theory.In the method,the advantage of conventional safety evaluation method is considered,and the proper contents in the code of Guideline on Dam Safety Evaluation are included.Some cases are analyzed to verify efficiency of the method,which show that the main influence factors on the safety of earth dam can be acquired,and that the overall safety evaluation can be done on earth dam.The method can be popularized to safety evaluation on earth dam and other hydro-structures.
